The height one can reach in a jump is not dependent on where the center of gravity is. Jumping is a factor of the strength in one’s legs vs the total mass of your body. Other physical activities, like pole vault, could be affected by moving your center of gravity upward, which can only be achieved by building your upper chest and arm musculature and reducing your waistline. But increasing your leg muscles will probably add weight down there, and might cancel the upper torso weight gain advantages.
