jump rope. sounds stupid, but it helps a LOT. also stretch a lot. being flexible is a big part of explosive strength
get really good running shoes and jump with wieghts. I had a friend in HS that was a monster jumper and he did this religiously! He had a wieght vest.
keep on practicing, know mentally that you can achieve your goal, the mind is a very powerful thing, stay focused, and keep in mind practice makes perfect, You can do it man!
well im 15 and my vert is about 34 inches and i just stretch before and it raises it like 3-4 inches
