try ‘clean and jerks’ except use a dumbell. basically hold the dumbbell in one hand, bend your knees, jump as high as u can and while you are jumping, bring the dumbbell up (so it’s stay close to your body) and then raise it up in the air. it kind of mimicks the whole jumping and reaching motion.
also, you could try deadlifts….it really works on the explosive strength in your legs and strengthens your lower back…which a lot of people don’t really train since they don’t think it matters. or do other exercises that train your core.
one more is doing like 20 reps of bench jumping…which is just jumping off both legs onto something higher. you can probably start off with like 2.5-3 feet and then build up the jumping power by wearing a weight vest or holding weights in your hand.
all creatine does is draw water to your muscles. so make sure you get enough protein or the creatine won’t do a thing. you do need more fast twitch muscle fibers to jump higher so creatine would probably help.
