You can calf raises with weights, practice jumping over high objects over & over again. You can also do calf raises on a step. I used to do it all the time & within a month I went from just being able to grab the rim to being able to catch alley-oops. Not crazy oops like Lebron or Kobe or anyone of those NBA guys but I was able to catch simple ones. I was also able to two hand dunk. Which seemed alot easier than a one hand dunk….
When I was in highscool I went from barley being able to touch the bottom of the rim, to actually dunking the ball within 3 months when we started doing a few new routines in practice. Im not exactly sure what they’re called..but for instance we would squat down and walk like a duck around the gym while extending our legs (sounds retarded but it worked) we also would jump every other step on the stairs whilst keeping our feet together, and also jump in place first flat footed, then tippie toes, then on heels, about 60 seconds each way.
